Its principal consultants have over 50 years combined experience on the market, with their undivided attention for the 3 offices in the Maun market, Gaborone market and Francistown region, hence with a countrywide network in the delivery of service.

Okavango Properties prolonged existence is backed by management’s three vibrant and office resident licensed directors as its key pioneers in its established branches with derived experience from some of the oldest valuation firms in Botswana market. Our knowledge of these property market is almost 20 years of specific market experience. The firm has in addition delved into value-added related services to its core business structure.

Firms Leadership

The business was registered in 2010. However, the company’s almost 10-year existence in growth is further mitigated with its prudent leadership, business and management systems in place. The firms operation is headed by Mr. Joel Chiyayo Mzyece in his capacity as executive director, supported by the director Mr. Wayne Mambwe Sakala and the managing director Mr. Elijah Gwamulumba, all REAC registered & qualified property consultants. Okavango Properties is registered with PPADB. Currently, on the scene, Okavango Properties boasts of the only REAC registered property valuers resident in Maun with its region property market specialization.

Local participation Management Policy

In view of improved corporate governance and support of local participation policies in Botswana and on account of being a majority citizen-owned company, the firm continues to diversify its management with the recent integration of a qualified citizen as managing director to head the new office branch in Francistown. The company boasts of adequately established autonomous offices, where there are highly trained, qualified and resident professionals with extensive and strong knowledge of specific market conditions and technical expertise backed by dedicated support staff and up to date information technology and a comfortable working environment, thus providing minimal associated risks to its corporate clients in the firm’s daily operations.
